Where the equipment is used

Vibratory piling is at its most productive in granular ground — sand, silt and gravel — which covers the majority of coastal, alluvial and reclaimed land. These are the application areas our equipment is most often specified into.

Foundation Pit Support

Sheet pile and casing installation for basement and deep excavation retaining walls. Because vibratory driving extracts as cleanly as it drives, temporary sheet piles come out intact and can be reused on the next project.

Photovoltaic Piles

Solar farm piles driven across large areas of granular subgrade. High penetration rates in sand mean pile counts that would take weeks by other methods are finished in days.

Coastal & Marine Works

Quay walls, revetments, cofferdams and flood defences. Vibration is the practical method where sheet piles must go through tidal ground without disturbing adjacent structures or generating impact noise.

Bridge Abutments & Piling

Vibratory driving to depth followed by impact for final set — a combined sequence that gets the pile down quickly and still provides a verified bearing capacity for permanent works.

Road, Highway & Rail

Crash barrier posts, rail piles, highway foundation works. Low noise output allows work to continue close to live traffic and occupied property, and the reduced working period shortens road closures.

Soft Ground Treatment

In-situ solidification of silt, sludge and soft clay for embankment bases, haul roads, factory floors and working platforms — no excavation, no spoil disposal.

River & Canal Silt

Solidifying dredged silt and canal bed material in place, turning it into usable ground rather than a disposal problem. Widely applicable where dredging already takes place.

Mining & Quarrying

Secondary breaking of oversize rock, frozen ground and hard strata. High frequency units deliver consistent output with less carrier wear than arm-converted machines.

Agriculture & Rural Works

Greenhouse framing piles, irrigation pipe setting and timber post driving where a compact carrier is the only machine that can reach the site.

The most important question before you order

Match the hammer's hydraulic demand to your carrier's auxiliary flow and pressure — not just to its tonnage. If your excavator supplies 200 L/min and the model needs 270 L/min, you will get poor penetration and premature hydraulic damage. Send us your machine details and we will check compatibility before quoting.

Send us your application and we will recommend a model

Carrier make and model, pile type and length, and the ground you are working in. That is all we need to come back with a specific recommendation.
